Mixing & Mastering

Mixing & Mastering are both services that are offered by Vex Hymn, and completed by Kai The Angel. The goal of this is always the best quality for streaming services, which can be achieved with a good mix and a completed master. Please refer to the information down below for specific information, steps, requirements, etc.

A completed mix & master example:

Mixing:

• Completed within 2 - 3 Business Days

• Track stems required
• Mixed to a standard -6 DBs

This will allow your mastering engineer the most head room for loudness, and control to get it stream service ready.
• Stereo Mix

• Can be mixed to your liking (please provide a reference track)

Mastering:

• Completed within 2 - 3 Business Days

• Highest quality audio file required

• Exported to .WAV format (best for streaming services)

• -14 LUFS & -1Db True Peak or -10LUFS & -2db True Peak 

This is the industry standard streaming levels (Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon, etc)

After placing your order for the service(s), please email engineering@vexhymn.com to send your track file stems, reference track, and any preferences you may have for the mix / master.

NOTE: Once mixing and / or mastering has been completed, we do offer up to 3 adjustment requests. There are no refunds for the service, unless we are unable to complete your request within 2 - 3 business days. However, if an agreement is met with the requester where a later date will suffice; there is no refund.
